This riveting new exhibition at Newark Museum explores the links between Yoruba Art and spirituality. Called “Embodying the Sacred in Yoruba Art” the traveling show features nearly 70 ancient pieces by the Yoruba, all laden with religious and spiritual symbolism, and created by one of Africa’s oldest and most influential culture.
