  • After years of setbacks Senegalese singer Youssou N’Dour has launched his own television station called TFM (Television Future Media). N’Dour already owns a radio station that has the largest audience in Dakar. <<AfriPOP! read it here>>
  • U2 frontman Bono and wife Ali Hewson’s new Louis Vuitton ad was shot in South Africa. In it they both wear Hewson’s own organic and ethical label Edun, which she created in 2005 and aims to encourage trade in Africa. <<AfriPOP! read it here>>
