This guy has been working the electro circuit for a few years now. Sweden-based, South African DJ and artist Spoek Mathambo spreads what he calls ‘township tech’ as a solo artist or as part of his other crews Playdoe and Sweat X.
We caught him performing tracks from his forthcoming album Mshini Wam when he played The Fader and Nike Sportswear’s Pitch Perfect party in Soweto on June 16. Seun Kuti, Tumi and DJ Cleo played too. You can watch the whole thing here.
