One of my besties is currently basking in the warmth of what she calls her greatest and most blessed creation yet – her newborn daughter whom I can’t wait to meet. I’m also really looking forward
to checking out Wanuri Kahiu’s work on the documentary Ger: To Be Separate. It follows Sudanese model/actor Ger Duany’s journey from child soldier to seeing his mother for the first time in 18 years and casting his vote for the new South Sudan.
The anticipation has had me rummaging on
the interwebs for some idea of what it’s like over there these days, and I’ve since come across this gem – Oh yeah, SUDAN!
