Meet Makho Ndlovu, a Zimbabwean-born an entertainment correspondent and writer who currently lives in New York City. Through her blog, Makho covers entertainment news and red carpet celebrity exclusives. In 2011, she was handpicked by music mogul Russell Simmons out of 5,000 contestants as the Global Grind celebrity video correspondent winner.  Bridging for passion her Africa and love of entertainment news, Makho recently began a weekly stint on South Africa’s largest youth station YFM as their US-based entertainment correspondent.

Here, she shares five days of her style.

Day 1: I am former pageant girl; I was Miss ZimUSA 2006 and 1st runner up in Miss New York USA pageant. Anytime I see sparkles or sequins I lose my ever-loving mind. True story. I saw this silver-ish sequin sweater at H&M and it was love at first sight

Day 2: I have a slight obsession with leopard print and bright colors. This outfit merges the two worlds seamlessly for me.

Day 3: For day three, I wanted to rock a dress! The NYC weather was just gorgeous so I thought this blue silk dress would be a perfect fit. I wore this dress when I was in Zimbabwe in December and I was flooded with compliments.

I love the subtle sexiness with the slits on both sides. The shoes were purchased in South Africa a few months ago; I can’t get enough of the green hue.

Day 4: I am attending an after work party so I decided to spice things up by wearing a black shorts paired with a tweed jacket. A little class with sass if you may!

Day 5: For my favorite day of the week–Friday–I decided to wear a classic style of dress. I love the 1950’s A-line cut; it just works for my dangerous curves. The bangles also have a special meaning for me and were purchased in India by one of my BFF’s Marshana. I wear them all the time!
