There are so many reasons to heart designer duo, Darlene and Lizzy Okpo, who recently launched the line, William Okpo.

Not only are the sisters credited with reviving the maxi-braid revolution worn by the likes of Solange, they’re also on their way to becoming the fashion world’s “It” girls, thanks to tons of coverage in The Fader magazine (remember how the mag helped blk jks blow up?) and two well-received runway shows.

The sisters are now coming out with a new collection for Spring 2012.

Daughter of Nigerian immigrants, Darlene and Lizzy say they named their line after their father because of his impeccable style.

We can’t wait to see what these two Afropolitans have up their sleeves.
