The ICA will release the film adaptation of South African noble laureate JM Coetzee Booker Man award winning Disgrace.

The New York Times gave it this review.

And according to the ICA website, Coetzee himself commended the film directed by Australian director Steve Jacobs for being true to the novel –  a story about a white South African, middle-aged professor (John Malkovich) who mentors and beds his young mixed race student.

The ICA will hold preview screenings of Disgrace on 1 – 3 December.

The 3 December screening includes a panel discussion with Boyd Tonkin, Claire Armistead, Geoff Mulligan and Justin Cartwright.
