Long time no speakee. So by now you’ve heard all about the Arise Magazine fashion show at New York Fashion Week last weekend. We went to the show, thanks to invites from the Arise editorial team (big up’s) and were really impressed by the designs on the runway, but were equally excited to happen upon the designs of one of the attendees, Nigerian-New Yorker Adeleke Sijuwade (pictured). Adeleke was there with one a model wearing this design, worn so fabulously by singer Keisha Cole a few months ago:
