This past weekend Brooklyn Museum’s First Saturday program was titled Viva Africa! The evening featured a selection of film, music and art about the continent. We were thrilled to see the usual suspects out on the town. Even more than watching them sweat (the temperature of the room was beyond 80 degrees) was seeing them getting down to the sounds of home. Afripop was there with to capture the moment and the colorful ensembles donned by our favorite Africans in NYC.
