Hey young world, this is AfriPOP! We aim to become your link to connecting with Afropolitans spread all over the map. We’re a band of Africans scattered around the globe, always looking back home to see the light. At once, we are rooted in Africa but exist in the United States, in England, France, Holland, the list goes on. We are African. We are global. We love our countries: big up South Africa, Uganda, Nigeria, Malawi, Senegal. If you want to big up your piece of the “Golden” continent, we welcome all submission/ suggestions/ directions. And please, no “dark” continent talk here.
Today we’re saying big up to Talib Kweli for releasing this fresh video. Check him out on a scooter in Lagos, Nigeria. We know it’s late but we’re taking a page from Nas and acknowledging that although this video is old Afripop is “never on schedule but always on time”.
